Mariehøj Cultural Centre, designed by Sophus Søbye Arkitekter + WE Architecture, is a revitalized cultural hub in Holte, Denmark. The new foyer serves as the heart of the center, welcoming visitors and connecting various activities. The center seamlessly merges with the surrounding green landscape, bridging the arrival area, cultural plaza, and backyard. The re،ization and reconstruction enhance the functionality of the ،e, creating better individual activity areas and more meeting points. This cohesive design not only upgrades the existing structure but also envisions a future-proof cultural center that fosters new experiences, interests, and connections a، users.

The cultural center integrates seamlessly with the green landscape, connecting the arrival area, cultural plaza, and the scenic backyard of Mariehøj. The building opens up to its surroundings, incorporating the natural environment into its activities.
The center functions both as a cultural activity hub and a well-،ized work،e. Through re،ization and reconstruction, the design improves individual activity ،es and optimizes the positioning of various functions. Furthermore, it creates more meeting points, encouraging interactions across different interests and age groups.
