According to the brief: ‘Leeds will benefit from further Government funding to enhance the city’s reputation as a fast-developing cultural centre, boosted by the relocation of Channel 4’s HQ in 2022.

‘This includes funds to support further design work to establish the British Li،ry North in Temple Works, at the southern end of the Arc, and seed funding for establi،ng the National Poetry Centre in Trinity St David’s Church on the University campus, led by the Poet Laureate – a Professor at the University of Leeds.
